Older and wiser after four years in college, Paul Kelly returns home to his blue-collar neighborhood with ambitions of achieving the “American Dream”. Paul is headed for a bright career in pharmaceutical sales, but when pressures from his parents, his job, and his girlfriend begin to mount, he finds solace in all the wrong places. Specifically two childhood friends, who rob pharmacies for kicks. Over the course of the summer, Paul forms new friendships with an exotic dancer named Gypsy and at work with pharmaceutical sales rep, Gary Metzler. Paul’s sales job is making him a lot more money, to the satisfaction of his parents and his status-obsessed girlfriend Amanda, but he finds true happiness from the relationship he’s building with Gypsy. Once old habits start, it’s hard to break them, and the dark streets of Pittsburgh begin to tear Paul apart.
